Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GracePulse's products, including PaperlessPew (pew.gracepulse.net) and VVIG (vvig.gracepulse.net) (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the church or organization you represent ("Customer", "you").
1. Accounts & Eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the church or organization you register.
2. Free Trial & Subscriptions
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial ends, continued use of a Service requires an active paid subscription, billed monthly or on the recurring period you select, at the price shown for your detected billing region at checkout. PaperlessPew and VVIG are subscribed to independently.
Subscription payments are processed by Paystack. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for recurring fees until you cancel. You may cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
3. SMS Wallet (VVIG)
VVIG's SMS follow-up feature is funded by a prepaid wallet that you top up via Paystack. Wallet funds are used to pay for outbound SMS messages at the rate displayed in your dashboard at the time of sending. Wallet balances are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only to communicate with people who have a genuine relationship with your church — Guests, visitors, members, and subscribers who provided their information to you directly. You agree not to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messages to purchased/rented contact lists
- Use the Services to send content that is unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent
- Attempt to circumvent WhatsApp's or any SMS carrier's messaging policies
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Services without our written consent
Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account.
5. Your Data, Your Guests
As between you and GracePulse, you (the Customer church) own the Guest, member, and subscriber data you collect through the Services. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and message that data, and for honoring opt-out requests from your own Guests and subscribers. See our Privacy Policy for how we process this data on your behalf.
6. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on third-party providers — including Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, TekSMS, and Paystack — to deliver messages and process payments. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or policy changes originating from these third parties, though we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Services functioning around them.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive use of the messaging features, or fail to pay applicable fees.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GracePulse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including delayed or undelivered WhatsApp/SMS messages caused by third-party providers.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
